Folks waiting to check in to our winter warming shelter.

Thank you for the outpouring of support we have received after announcing OTM's Winter Emergency Shelter! We have now provided more than 700 nights of shelter to more than 90 different unsheltered individuals since we opened our doors in January. Our shelter will remain open until March 31, 2021 to continue to provide a warm place to sleep through the end of Durham's winter.

If you would like to support our shelter operations, consider donating some of the following items:

  • travel-sized toothpaste

  • travel-sized lotion

  • soft snacks like pre-packaged Nutri-Grain bars and cookies

  • bananas

  • hot chocolate mix

  • ground coffee

  • bottled water

  • clementines

Donations can be brought to the OTM/Trinity UMC office on Tuesdays or Wednesdays from 9am-1pm. If you aren't able to donate, consider making a financial donation to OTM to help support our work in the community!
